UK Plumbing Training and Careers
There has been a dramatic shortage of plumbers in the UK over the past decade, due mainly to a lack of plumbing apprenticeship
places for youngsters leaving school giving little chance to learn about plumbing.
Gone are those days when you started an apprenticeship with a plumbing employer, worked your way through and became a qualified plumber, that style of plumbing training gateways into the industry have gone. The Fast Track plumbing course offers a viable alternative to being a plumbers apprentice - giving you the opportunity to become a qualified plumber, start your new career and learn about plumbing.
It is estimated that there is around a 40,000 shortfall in the number of plumbers needed today. If you are stuck in a dead end job with no potential to earn the sort of money you are worth, you would like to be your own boss or just considering a career change, now is the time to sort yourself out.

The Course
At Fast Track the two week course is kept small to ensure one on one domestic plumbing training, taking on no more than four
trainees at a time. Our intensive plumbing course is designed to give you maximum hands-on practical training in our purpose
built training bays giving you the best possible introduction to this lucrative industry and start your plumbing career.
Plumbing Training at Fast Track won't eat up your time with boring lectures - everything is tailored for maximum absorption giving you extensive practical and technical plumbing training and knowledge.
You will also receive free business cards, overalls used on the course are yours to keep along with tools and a bag to get your plumbing career started. Post-training support is also provided by Fast Track Plumber Training to those needing advice once their plumbing training has been completed. Fast Track are fundamental in your absorption into the plumbing industry. Fast Track Students
Once professionally trained at Fast Track Plumber Training you will be able to work competently as a self-employed plumber -
giving you the opportunity to progress to gain NVQ qualification and become CORGI registered. Becoming an NVQ qualified plumber
will be dependant on meeting NVQ standards at a registered NVQ assessment centre. Your plumbing training at Fast Track will be to
NVQ Level 2/3 standard - allowing you, after a period of experience and study, to take relevant NVQ exams. Becoming a CORGI
registered plumber will be possible once you have gained experience as professional plumber. Your course certificate provided
by Fast Track Plumber Training can be used as proof of training to apply to become CORGI registered, or an "approved plumber",
on "un-vented systems". This is dependant on your meeting the criteria of the plumbing training centre you approach.
